What on earth is Street Safe Thinking?

Good question.

The world has never before presented so much opportunity to so many of us.  We can literally reach across the world to start new businesses, ask for support and build relationships.  Borders and distances which once would have stopped us seem relatively inconsequential, by-passable with a little bit of thought.

At the same time our safety and security seems to be constantly challenged and threatened. 

Sadly many people are targets because of their race, religion or way of life; attackers can learn their skills online and build their own weapons of terror; economic disparity is magnified, with economic crime and fraud growing as technology leaps forward; an individual may be targeted for any of one hundred or more reasons, and then there are accidents.

Street Safe Thinking is a thought process to help you stay safe. It’s a personal decision making tool every one of us should have.  Amongst everything going on around you, it is a framework for seeing, thinking and acting in a way which always puts your safety at the front of your considerations.

It is not a detailed description of what to do in any specific circumstance. If the world can do anything, it will ensure that whatever you are confronted by is not that described in any detailed list of actions and plan.

Street Safe Thinking is the mental process which each of us must develop to ensure we remain as safe as possible in a 24 hour a day complex fast moving world.
